Product availability
Lead time is dependent on stock availability. Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays.
Payment Options
You may pay for the items which you order online by supplying your credit card details on the secure online order form. We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards only.
You may also use the SnapScan facility. Details for downloading the App on your smartphone can be viewed here on the SnapScan website. Powered by Standard Bank, SnapScan allows you to: – Make quick and convenient payments using only your phone. Purchase without handing over your card details. Pay with supported debit or credit card.
Prices displayed on the website include Value Added Tax which will be charged at the current rate.
Although we try to ensure that all prices on the website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the items you have ordered, we will contact you as soon as possible. You will have the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat your order in respect of the incorrectly priced item as cancelled.
We reserve the right to update prices displayed on the website from time to time.
At the time of placing the order, the transaction details are presented to the bank and an authorization is obtained for the amount of the order.
All transactions will be processed in South African Rand (ZAR).
Pricing
Metelerkamps Knysna endeavours to offer you competitive prices on current products. Your total order price will include the price of the purchase plus any applicable sales tax and shipping charges and delivery fees (on the day of shipping).
Metelerkamps Knysna reserves the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice.
The price of each product is displayed with the product. In the event of a sale or special offer, the discounted price is displayed.
Metelerkamps Knysna shall take all reasonable efforts to maintain correct prices. However, should errors occur and items are offered at incorrect prices, Metelerkamps Knysna will not be obliged to sell goods at such incorrect prices.
Agreements of Sale
When you click to make a purchase with us, legal obligations arise and your right to refund of monies charged to your credit card is limited by our terms & conditions. You must not make any purchase through this site unless you understand and agree to all of our terms and conditions. Once payment is made for the purchase, it is deemed that you have read and understood the terms and conditions for such purchase. If you have any queries please contact us before making any purchase for any service through this website.
A transaction is only binding once Metelerkamps accepts the offer of the consumer even when payment has already been made. Metelerkamps can withdraw from an order with an incorrect price.
An agreement of sale only comes into effect when a credit card or SnapScan authorisation is received from the issuing bank.
Delivery Policy
South Africa Shipping:
The cost of shipping within the borders of South Africa is determined as follows:
Metelerkamps charge an R100 fee for orders under the value of R450. Shipping may be via courier, postal services or via own delivery vehicles.
Please ensure the correct delivery address is provided from the outset as title and risk will pass to you once the order has left our premises.
Deliveries to Johannesburg and Cape Town are usually 2-3 working days. Deliveries to other major cities are 3-5 working days Deliveries to non-metro areas can take up to 7 working days (sometimes more depending on 3rd party courier schedules) Delays caused by striking or lockdown regulations are out of our control, but we will do our best to track and trace parcels and keep you informed.
For Major appliances, fireplaces, Braais and Pizza ovens, we will provide a quotation on delivery on these items at the time of purchase.
International deliveries:
Unfortunately, deliveries cannot be made outside the borders of South Africa.
Undeliverable packages
Occasionally packages are returned to us undeliverable. Should this event take place every attempt will be made to contact you to make arrangements for re-shipment.
Order processing
Order processing will not begin until we receive a confirmed order and full payment, via a credit card, EFT or a SnapScan authorisation from the issuing bank.
Returns Policy
Goods may be returned only when defective, damaged or if the product supplied is not the same product as what was ordered. If the Goods are defective in any way this must be reported within 3 days after the products having been delivered to you and must be returned to us within a period of 14 days after delivery. If the Goods are not the same as what was ordered this must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. Any damage must also be immediately reported, within 24 hours of delivery.
Return of Sealed Products
Products that are returned due to incorrect order and are still fully sealed in the original packaging and have not been used or damaged in any way will be refunded at the discretion of Metelerkamps Knysna. Any return of this nature must be reported within 24 hours of product delivery. The product must be returned within 7 days of delivery.
Returns of Defective Products
Products that are returned due to defect must be reported within 3 days of product delivery. Returns of such products must be sent with all the packaging if possible. The return of this product will be processed with the original importer or supplier and will not be refunded up until a time that the supplier has determined that the reason for refund is within the guarantee of the product in question. Metelerkamps will communicate with you during this process.

Shipping of Returns
The shipping charges for returns will be for the account of the customer. We will inspect and treat each and every return with discretion and will do our best to come to a resolution as soon as possible. In certain cases, we will refund the shipping and product costs to you.
